Crafting Life's Pieces Challenge
Sorry ladies I only stumbled upon this not long ago and I have been really bad of late with entering myself in these challenges. But with my new agenda I am hoping to keep on top of things. The deadline for this one is tomorrow so it's not too late in case you want to enter. Here is the link to CLP. Here is the sketch. Stunning isn't it.
Sweet & Toxic
The Greeting Farm has challenges every friday. Last friday it was a sketch and the prize is a set of their Sweet & Toxic stamps. Here is the sketch.
Here is my card. The first one I admit I was extremely happy only when I realized that I used the wrong stamp so I had to redo the challenge. But this fabulous stamp is by Marina Neira from The Stamping Bazaar. His name is Shy Sammy. If you want to visit the website here is another link. The papers are from Basic Grey, I used the Chandelier Garland from Magenta and the ribbon is from Hero Arts and I used my own glitter mix to color the ribbon. The glitter spray is so easy to make. You need Perfect Pearls, Distress ink refill and water.
The next card is the one I had to redo using a stamp for The Greeting Farm. It's my DH's birthday tomorrow and even though the stamp is for a boy he is a child at heart. I used Basic Grey for the papers, Bo Bunny for the sentiments & the top ribbon and button are from Stampin' Up. TFL and be sure to check out these fabulous sites. This also qualifies for the Totally Stampalicious contest: texture!

Friday Sketchers posts a new card challenge every friday. I am always missing the deadline. But this time I have an agenda. I jazzed it up with ribbon and envelopes and now I can better manage my challenges, contests & DT work.
This is the sketch for Challenge #117

Oops I Did It Again
I really thought this time I was going to be on time with the Friday Sketchers challenge. I finished my card but I didn't want to take the photo until today so I could have sunlight. GRRR! New challenge is already up and I missed out again. I need to get an agenda and start writing everything down so I can better manage all these challenges and contests. Here it is anyway. I used the Basic Grey Olivia PP's and the gorgeous flowers are from Magenta & Prima. The Chandelier Garland is from Magenta. The stamp is from All That Scraps. TFL!

Lord Have Mercy Sketch & Bikkie With Cookie
Have you ever been so overwhelmed with all the contests out there? I have! I can't begin to tell you how many sketch contests I save onto my desktop only to pull my hair out when I realize 1) I have no idea which blog it came from or 2) I remember to do them after the expiry date. Once again I didn't make it in time. The sketch came from here at Lord Have Mercy. And the adorable Bikkie with Coffee came from The Stamping Bazaar! Marina's digi stamps are so much fun to play with.
Here is a link to all the wonderful comments I was given at Scrapbook Star gallery. Thank you everyone for the amazing comments.

Big Announcements!
I have several announcements. First I'd like to give a big WOOT!!! I made my first stamping DT! The wonderful artist Marina Neira who has made stamps for The Greeting Farm has now opened her own stamping company called The Stamping Bazaar. Her stamps are beautifully detailed and are the sweetest. I am so happy to be at the start of this new venture with Marina. I am so excited to be working with her and the many talented women that were also chosen. Be sure to check it out.
I will also be a guest on Sept. 12 & 19 for a new scrapping challenge board. It's called Better Living Through Scrapbooking. What I like about this challenge board is that you are given at least 5 things and you have to use at least 2 of the items. It's really a great challenge blog to get you thinking outside of your comfort zone. There are great prizes to be won so check it out.
And lastly I have a winner for my contest. The winner of the new papers from We R Memory Keepers is Charlene!!! Congrats.

Another Card and an Extension!
For this card I used the Sarah Kay Stamp. The gorgeous PP is from Creative Imaginations, the flowers are handmade. I used a pearl dabber on the tip and then used diamond stickles. The leaves are also handmade. I inked it with a darker color and used a marker to draw the lines. This time I used Derwent Coloursoft pencils with Fragonard Odourless Mineral Spirit.
Here is a close-up of the flowers! TFL! :D
Due to the vacation time and not everyone linking their blogs or facebook I am extending the deadline for my blog candy. I will be announcing the winner on Aug.15 Sunday! If you haven't linked your blog please do so otherwise you are not eligiable for the prize.
