Anything Goes But....

You must use a Glitterbabe image (if you don't have one please click here for the link) and there must be sparkle!  Sorry this is a late post.  I have 3 DT challenges that go up on Thursday and I want all to have a fair chance.  The winner for this challenge will win an awesome rak from my fellow DT Theresa.

For my card I used the 6x6 mini desk from Cosmo Cricket - Mtten Weather Collection!  The floral embellies with the pearls was given as a gift so I don't know who they are from but if someone knows I would love to know.  I used stickles on the snowflakes and the coloring is with Stampin' Up Markers with a watercolor brush.  My image is "ice skating" from Glitterbabe TFL!

Head over to the Glitterbabe Challenge and while you are there look at what our Guest DT Dawn did and what the rest of the team did.  Absolutely gorgeous ladies! :D

This week's challenge at Digi Doodle's Shop Best anything goes.  You don't have to use one of their digis but if you do your entry counts as twice! :D  The winner will win a $10 gift certificate for DDSB! You will not be disappointed!  I had a tough time chosing mine.

My card is using one of the new releases from DDSB and the papers are from Fancy Pants - Happy Together collection.  I designed my shape and used Make the Cut for cricut to cut it.  Ladies I have a whole new respect for my cricut!  I will be having fun designing my own shapes. :D

Vintage

Can you believe in the two years I have been scrapbooking and card making I never made anything vintage?  I was pretty surprised that I never created one because I love the look.  This week's challenge at Charisma Cardz really forced me to take the plunge! However I didn't have much papers for it so when I stumbled upon the Mariposa matstack from DCWV I knew this would help me for the challenge.  I love it and I think I may try vintage again! :D  The stamp is from Whiff Of Joy - Willow with Flowers.
Be sure to submit your card at Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog.  Anything goes but it has to be Vintage.  There are two prizes to be won.
The first prize is from Bunny Zoe Crafts
The lucky winner will get Vintage Tilda, Vintage Crochet Flowers, and a set of 6 Christmas Tree Charms!!!

The second prize is from All That Scraps
The lucky winner will receive 4 stamps or 1 stamp set!

Remember to head over to the Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog to enter and once you are there check out what the rest of the Team did! You have until next Wednesday to enter.

Frame It

This week's challenge over at the Glitterbabe's challenge blog is Frame it.  Anything goes just remember to use a frame.  This week's challenge is being sponsored by JLJ Designs.  The winner will receive 3 wonderful digis + 1 fabulous paper pack.  So head on over and enter your card.  You don't need to use a Glitterbabe image or a JLJ Design image but you do need to frame it and use any type of glitter.  Have fun.  Be sure to check out what the other DT's have done.

For my card I used my spellbinders.  I will be honest in saying it is the first time I used this frame die cut.  I wonder why I waited so long.  The halloween papers are from Echp Park.  TFL!

Keep It Simple

Sounds easy doesn't it......not.  The challenge this week at Digi Doodle's Shop's Best is Keep It Simple.....but here's the catch.  No designer paper allowed and you must use "one" embellishment.  The winner for this challenge will receive a 10$ gift certificate at the Digi Doodle's Shop's Best Store.  I used one of their new releases "sliding penguins" on my card.  I used glitter cardstock and lace ribbon from Hero Arts.  Be sure to check the DDSB challenge blog to see what the other DT came up with and remember to enter your card with inlinkz.

More Than One Fold Challenge

The Charisma Cardz Challenge this week is to have more than one fold on your card.  I admit I don't do these often but love the results.  It really gives the extra WOW factor on your card.  There are 2 prizes to be won.

First prize is from The Cutting Café!
The winner will receive 3 digi's of their choice!

Prize Two is from Donna's Den!

Sadly Donna's Den is closing but has donated this wonderful prize to the winner!

This week my challenge was a hard one for me.  A dear friend of mine has cancer and it's inoperatable.  Her chances of survival are slim.  I am scared, lost and so sad.  I made this easel card and I want her to look at it everyday so that she has a constant reminder of why she should never give up.  Please send prayers her way!!!  I used the new Pyrus collection from Basic Grey.  Which is sooooo perfect because these are my friends favorite colors.  The stamp is from Digi Stamp Boutique.  The coloring is with Stampin' Up markers with a watercolor brush on watercolor paper.  TFL!

Don't forget to go to Charisma Cardz Challenge Blog to link your card.  You have until Wednesday 7:30PM to get your entries in.  Please link a direct post to your card or you may be disqualified.

These Are My Peeps

At Digi Doodle Shop's Best the challenge for this week is people.  Use any stamp but it has to be a person.  If you use Digi Doodle Shop's Best image your entry counts twice.  The winner will win a $10 certificate at Digi Doodle Shop's Best store.  Be sure to check out the new arrivals as they are perfect for halloween and Christmas.  If you are in the top 3 you may have a chance for a guest DT spot.

For this week's challenge I used the image "Daisy Girl".  Isn't she pretty!!!  I used the papers from Best Creations and the flowers are prima with stickles and the garland chandelier from Magnolia.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up as well as the markers with a watercolor brush.  The two brads are from Basic Grey.  TFL!

Be sure to link your image using Inlinkz but remember to post your project.  If your post is 2 posts older or more you will be disqualified.  You have until next Wednesday midnight to enter.  Good luck!

Anything Goes

This week at Glitterbabe's Challenge Blog anything goes.  But remember you have to have something on your card that has glitter.  This week the team and I had the pleasure of using Deedee's Digis

The winner will receive a gift certificate for $10 for Deedee's Digis!

I used the image and sentiment.  Be sure to check out Glitterbabe's Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team did.  Awesome cards ladies! :D

I used the papers I won from Echo Park.  Seriously I couldn't believe when I saw my name was chosen.  Not only did it come in record time but the Happy Halloween collection is gorgeous!!!  I used Stampin' Up markers and watercolor brush on watercolor paper.  The ribbon is unknown and of course lots and lots of stickles.  TFL!

Orange Me Glad

This week's challenge at Digi Doodle Shop is all about Orange.  We want to see orange on your card or project.  With halloween coming up it's perfect for those who do not use orange a lot. The winner of this week's challenge will receive a gift certificate of $10 for the Digi Doodle Shop.  With all the October sales you will certainly receive a few digi stamps.  The only problem is that there are too many wonderful images to choose from. LOL.  For more details please visit the Digi Doodle Challenge blog.  Also check out what all the other DT came up with.

For my card I used SEI papers and colored my Digi Doodle image with orange and pink.  The coloring is with Stampin' Up markers and waterbrush on watercolor paper.  Gems are from Basic Grey and the flowers are from Hero Arts.  TFL!

Long overdue pages

Hi all!  It's been a while since I posted any pages.  I have been in a card frenzy lately!!!  I know some of you voiced that you missed my pages so here are a few I have managed to squeeze in.

This page is using all products from Best Creations.  I love the glitter side of their pages.  It's very well coated so there isn't glitter all over the place.  The photo is my DSS from last year.  I love the happiness on his face.  Also a little spoof on the title!

This page is with the Echo Park papers A Walk In The Park.  Seriously what's not to like with Echo Park.  Love everything they jam into their collection pack.  Once again a little spoof on the title.

And last a total spoof on my entire page.  I had to do a challenge as a GDT at Better Living Through Scrapbooking and it was using traditional papers for a non traditional page.  Not easy as it sounds but it certainly got me thinking outside the box.  I found this picture of my niece and right away the Eerie collection of Basic Grey was perfect.
