Happy Thursday everyone. I have a card to share with you today. Next week I will not be posting anything as I am moving. But I hope to be back the first week of August.
Today's card is using the super sweet image "Lara Ladybug" from Digital Delights. It's my favorite insect. I used to love counting the black spots before they flew away. :D She is colored with promarkers. The papers are the 6x6 from 7 Gypsies - Mykonos. The gem swirl is from Zva and colored with a promarker. The flowers are from I Am Roses. TFL and don't forget to visit The Digital Delights by Louby Loo Blog to see what the rest of the team did.

Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Happy Thursday everyone! I am excited to announce that I made the Digital Delights DT and if you like adorable, cute images then you will make Digital Delights a regular stop for images, papers & sentiments.
For my card this week I used the "Claudia Cow" image. I don't know why but I have a thing for cows maybe it's all the road trips I took. LOL. But isn't she SUPER CUTE! I used the "I Love MOO!" sentiment. I colored her with Promarkers. The papers are the Echo Park - Summer Days. The papers are so bright and cheerful. The stitckers are also from Echo Park. The yarn is from We R Memory Keepers. I also used my Slice from Making Memories for the shapes.
Be sure to check out the Digital Delights Blog to see what the rest of the DT did and also check out the Digital Delights Challenge Blog.

Has This Ever Happened To You?
I was going to enter a challenge at Willow Sketchie Challenge and wouldn't you know it I missed the deadline because of the time zone. I had my card finished and was going to submit and bang it was too late. I am posting it anyway. The card challenge was using a sketch with a little twist. Must have red and something shiny/sparkly.
I used the cute image "Colin In The Garden". I used promarkers for coloring. Did you know that Promarkers will now have a nib to attach for super fine work? I am so excited because lots of images I color have spaces that are so hard to reach. They are also making it in a 3 pack and it looks like they really wanted to keep the cost down. But will be even more cost productive is if the new markers will have the attachment. The papers are from Echo Park - For The Record. Gorgeous aren't they? The charms are from Whimsey Stamps. The yarn is from We R Memory Keepers. TFL! Be sure to check out the new challenge that goes live on Thursday.

Announcing Passion Collimagination Guest DT
I am so happy to announce that I will be a Guest DT for Passion Collimagination for the months of July-September. I missed being at a LSS and when I saw Passion and it is 5 minutes from home I was so happy. I have been going to their crops and meeting the people. It's mostly french but I get by. It's really a friendly group of women and the owner Melissa is super amazing. She made me feel welcome right away and I have been fortunate to have met some of the other DT. If you want a friendly and funny atmosphere then Passion is the place.
For my July kit I used the gorgeous and delicate papers and products from Pink Paislee - Butterfly Garden which is this month's card kit. Inside this kit you will find wood chipboard and delicate fabric flowers. The stamp is one of my favorite stamping artist, Mo Manning and the beautiful angelic image is the "Fairy Kiki". The pearls and ribbon are my favorite. If you want to see this card IRL it will be at the store shortly. But for now here it is.
I made an easel card. They are super easy to make. My cards are 6"x6" so cut a cardstock 6"x12". With a scorepad or freehand score at 3" and then at 6". Now fold them and what you have is half a card top. Cut a 6"x6" cardstock and you will adhere it to the half fold on top. I will make a tutorial soon in case you don't understand.
I used crackle glossy accents to give the wings a delicate feel. The image "Fairy Kiki" is colored with Promarkers. The bird cage was lots of glimmer mist and paint dabbers. The finishing touch was some stickles. The leaves were cut using the Stampin' Up die cut.
This is the inside of my card. Take note when you are making an easel card to use elements that will help keep your card open to the easel card. In this case I often distress the edges of my patterned paper because that alone does the trick. But you can use brads, buttons, flowers, etc.
